HISTORY MAKER SRI LANKA 2017

History Maker Sri Lanka was held from May 30th to June 4th 2017. Joining Dr. Richard William were teams from Taiwan (Ps. Joshua, Ps. Wennie, baby Sarah, Meihsiu, Kimmy, Joanne and Roy), Indonesia (Ps. Pendy and Nanda) and Singapore (Ps. Pauline and Ps. Grace). Our flights landed in Colombo airport on a late Monday night and we were given a warm welcome by members of the local church.

Our host is Rev. Conrad De Silva, the Senior Pastor of Christian Life Center for 20 years. In Colombo city, he has two churches – Colombo 10 church and Lake church – with over 300 members.

Day One started with a Leader’s meeting at Colombo 10 church. Various leaders came together with great expectation of what the Lord would do. Ps. Pauline first addressed the leaders with a challenge to prepare for a change that was coming so that they would embrace a fresh move of God. Ps. Grace later exhorted the leaders to walk in faithfulness to their pastor and to the vision God has given them. And Ps. Joshua ended the meeting with a word of encouragement and impartation for the leaders to go forth and do greater works for the Lord. God is faithful to build His church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it!

In the evening, we had a Revival meeting at Lake church. There was such a hunger for God’s presence as the people started gathering in the hall. We had a great time of praise and worship by the youth band, led by Ps Conrad’s son, Johnan. Both Nanda and Joanne shared powerful testimonies about how God turned their lives around. Ps Joshua was the speaker that night, giving a now word for the people to rise up like never before. At the end of the meeting, the altar was filled people coming forward to receive fresh fire from the Lord. Hallelujah!

Day Two began with a meeting at the Assemblies of God Bible College in Ja Ela, some distance away from Colombo city. Dr. Richard William was there to minister to the students at their chapel service, along with Ps. Pendy, Nanda and Roy. In the evening, we had the second Revival meeting at Lake church. The time of worship was so phenomenal that we could just go on and on. We experienced God’s presence and anointing in a fresh new way. Roy later shared his testimony about his encounter with God that changed his life. Dr. Richard William delivered a powerful word that night, stirring up a new fire and passion for God in people’s hearts. Many came forward for the Lord, surrendering their hearts to the Lord. There was such a move of the Holy Spirit in that place!

In the morning of Day Three, we went to a preschool that was started by the church in a local community. We spent time there teaching the children some fun action songs about God. Nanda even shared a story from the Bible about King David. At the end we laid our hands on every child, praying a blessing over their lives and for God’s hand to be upon them. Every child is precious in the eyes of God!

That evening, we had our first Revival meeting at Colombo 10 church. The hall was packed people even on a weekday night. We had a wonderful time of praise and worship, with people lifting their voices unto the Lord. Kimmy and Joanne shared their testimonies of how they came to find God and their lives were never the same again! Ps. Grace brought a word to the congregation, for the people to be desperate for the Lord because it is hunger that makes all the difference. Later on Ps. Joshua continued to speak the people, engaging them in his stories about how God came through for him in every situation and season of his life. It was truly impacting and powerful!

On Day Four, there was a Women’s meeting at Lake church. Ps. Pauline ministered to the ladies with a word from the Lord. We also took time to pray with every person that came, giving them a personal word to exhort and encourage them in the Lord.

After the Women’s meeting, we went to an outreach program at Grandpass. This is a low-income apartment building to house those who previously lived in slums. We started with some fun action songs to get the children warmed up. We then had children from different age groups to take part in an art competition where they drew their family. At the end of the given time, we picked three winners from each category and presented them with prizes. Let's pray for more open doors for the church to reach out to the local community!

The second night Revival meeting was at Colombo 10 church. There was a sense of excitement in the air. We knew that God’s glory was going to come. It would be so awesome! The hall was packed with people full of anticipation for God to do a new thing. Dr. Richard William spoke on the resurrection power that ministered to many hungry souls. It brought about a fresh revelation to the hearts of many. There was a mighty release of the Spirit at the end of the meeting. God poured out His Spirit upon many to bring about His freedom and breakthrough!

Day Five started very early in the morning at 5am. We had to be on our way to Galaha and Hantane, town areas in Kandy that are at least 4 hours away from Colombo. This trip was organized by Ps. Lester, an associate pastor and also missions pastor of the church. Over at Galaha, we ministered to a group of 80-100 children who gathered at a local school. We started off with some songs. The children had lots of fun following the actions. Ps. Pauline shared a story from the Bible with them. We even had some time with the adults where Ps. Grace ministered to them, sharing about God’s healing power. We had the opportunity to lay hands on the adults and children one by one, praying for the Lord to touch them in a special way. They were mostly Hindu people and yet their hearts were open!

After our time at the school, we left for another town, Hantane. Over there, we ministered to a group of 20 leaders, with Ps. Pauline and Ps. Pendy sharing the Word of God.

Day Six was a Sunday and we had 4 services that day. Ps. Pendy and Nanda ministered at the Sinhalese service at Lake church. Ps. Joshua and his team ministered at the Tamil service at Colombo 10 church. Dr. Richard William ministered at the Sinhalese service at Colombo 10 church and also the English service at Lake church. Praise God for what He has done! There was such a release of God’s spirit and power in people’s lives over the week. God is moving…can you hear the sound of revival!

HISTORY MAKER GLOBAL CONFERENCE 2015

The 2015 History Maker Global Conference was held from November 4 to 6, at a 400-seater concert hall in downtown Taipei. This year we had participants from Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, China and USA. We were extremely excited and honored to have Overflowing Worship from South Korea join us, along with their senior pastor, Pastor Joshua Lee and worship leader, Pastor Chris Yoon. They brought to us a dynamic time of praise and worship, and a tremendous measure of God’s presence.

Day One of the conference started with prayer at 5:30am. Dr. Richard William spoke on the presence of God from Exodus 33. Prayer births revival. Prayer brings fresh fire. Prayer changes the atmosphere. Prayer will get us the result. Because we pray every morning, we are going to be a powerhouse! We ended the time by praying for the Church in the River of Life, our host for this year’s conference. Within the year alone, they had planted two churches in other districts of Taipei. Praise God!

All three days of praise and worship was led by Pastor Chris Yoon (South Korea), with Pastor John Wu (Taiwan) and Pastor Samuel Chu (Taiwan) leading some songs in Chinese. Even though it was their first time working together, they had great synergy and unity in praising and worshipping the Lord!

For our first session, Apostle Richard Brown (USA) charged the people to press in to another dimension of the Spirit. We need the Holy Spirit to enter into the kairos moment like David did. There may be limitations in the flesh, but in the Spirit all things are made possible!

We had three workshops in the afternoon: youth ministry, worship ministry and leadership. Pastor Chris Yoon (South Korea) exhorted believers to be eager in seeking God’s face through worship. The very thing that opens the presence of God is an encounter with God. Pastor Joshua Lee (South Korea) addressed another group on youth ministry, encouraging them to reach out and be relevant to the next generation. Pastor Conrad De Silva (Sri Lanka) spoke to the leaders and pastors, exhorting them on the principles of leadership.

That evening, Pastor Robert Lie (Indonesia) urged believers to serve God out of a deep, intimate relationship with Him and be totally obedient to Him. He shared about the miraculous things the Lord did in his church. Revival happened because they spent time in prayer and worship. In closing, Pastor Robert urged believers to come together to seek the Lord during the prayer meeting early next morning.

Day Two began with a crowd gathering in the early hours of the morning to pray. Pastor Robert Lie (Indonesia) exhorted believers that supernatural things don’t come cheap. There is a price to pay if we want to experience miracles in our lives. We can get anything in heaven only if we are willing to pay the price.

For the morning session, Dr. Aaron Wong (Taiwan) shared his vision for Taiwan. He has a vision for 128 churches in the nation. The churches will be a light that shines in the darkness. People from all over the land will be attracted by this light because of the Holy Spirit and anointing in believers!

Pastor Conrad De Silva (Sri Lanka) ministered the Word to us that evening. He shared that faith that releases, whereas fear binds. Fear will cause us to shrink and stagnate so when it knocks at the door, send faith to answer. Faith attracts the impossible and we are called for that!

Day Three started with believers seeking the Lord in prayer. Despite it being the third day of the conference, the numbers at the prayer meeting did not go down. Apostle Richard Brown (USA) spoke on the authority of a believer. We have to use the authority in order to defeat the devil. It is our prayer that will change our cities, not worship, programs or anything else!

Pastor Robert Lie (Indonesia) exhorted believers that morning before leaving for the airport. He challenged everyone to believe God and rise up to a higher level of expectation. If we believe 100%, we will experience the miracles. If we desire a new dimension of the Spirit, we have to be like Jesus. Be in Christ daily and live in Him!

That afternoon we had three workshops: youth ministry, worship ministry and leadership. Pastor Chris Yoon (South Korea) shared that if we give 100% to God, our lives will be different and we will give ourselves wholeheartedly to God. Pastor Joshua Lee (South Korea) addressed another group on youth ministry, again encouraging them to reach out and be relevant to the next generation. Pastor Amos Tsang (Hong Kong) spoke to the leaders and pastors.

That evening Dr. Richard William (Singapore/USA) brought a closure to the conference. He spoke on how we can prepare for the end-time revival. We need to be deliberate to step into the unknown. God is always in the impossible. We have to carry the anointing and choose to walk with Jesus. The blessings will come to the victorious church and it’s coming now. Selfish behavior is not an option because we are the church victorious!

HISTORY MAKER GLOBAL CONFERENCE 2014

History Maker International was started by Dr. Richard William in 2003. Hence, our History Maker Global Conference is into its twelfth year this 2014. It is a significant year because the number twelve speaks of a new government. The clock face doesn’t have the number thirteen. It goes from “twelve” to “one” which means change is coming and we are going to move into a new season. We believe this is Asia’s hour and a revival like never before is coming to Asia!

The conference revolved around one theme, “Outpouring.” Our delegates from Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, China, Malaysia and USA came together to seek a greater outpouring of the Lord. From the beginning till the end, the Lord moved in ways that most have never experienced before.

Our main speakers for the conference were Dr. Larry Hill (USA), Dr. Roberts Liardon (USA) and Dr. Richard William (USA/ Singapore). Together they brought about a tremendous measure of God’s presence.

Praise and worship was led by Pastor John Wu (Taiwan), Pastor Samuel Chu (Taiwan) and Cheng Yao (Singapore) in both English and Chinese. There was great synergy amongst the worship team, with musicians and singers from Taiwan, Singapore and South Korea. Whenever the people gathered before the Lord, we would have an awesome time of praising and worshipping Him with all of our hearts.

Day One of the conference started with prayer at 5:30am. A crowd had gathered in the wee hours of the morning. Dr. Richard William spoke on the spirit of prayer. When the people of God pray, they go from breakthrough to breakthrough. Churches or people who don’t pray are those in survival mode. Prayer brings revival!

For our first session, Dr. Larry Hill charged the people to redeem the time. It’s important for us to understand the arena of time from God’s perspective. We need to understand the times so that we can cooperate with God and redeem the time. One of the saddest things of life is lost opportunity. We got to be part of what God is doing. We need to be moving where God is moving. Our life is not an accident. God specifically designed us for this moment in history!

At the afternoon workshop, Pastor David Park (South Korea) brought an encouraging word to the crowd that had gathered. He challenged the people to grow deeper and go further in the Lord.

At the leader’s workshop, Dr. Roberts Liardon shared about the early church. A lot of people think the early church was perfect and want to go back to the days of the early church. The truth is the early church was plagued with similar problems as we do today. Today, we are blessed with knowledge. We can change the world by all forms of media such as Internet, TV, newspaper and radio.

That evening, Dr. Richard William urged all believers to have a visitation of the Holy Ghost. We and the Holy Spirit are a lethal combination. God is looking for those who are willing to pay the price. God is waiting for us to step up to the place. Many responded to the call that night, renewing their desire to move in the things of the Holy Spirit.

Day Two of the conference began with early morning prayer. Pastor Amos Tsang (Hong Kong) exhorted the people to keep their fire for the Lord. Jesus prayed for His disciples so that they can receive revelation. Paul prayed for the Ephesus church and revival came to them. In the same way, we can pray for the Holy Spirit’s revelation to come upon us!

Dr. Roberts Liardon preached the Word at the morning session. He spoke on the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The great missionaries took the gospel to the world, but their wives and children died in that process. If they knew all the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit, they would be saved from all that trouble. We all need the nine gifts to grow stronger and deeper in our lives. All nine gifts can bring victory to anybody!

That afternoon, the overseas delegates went sightseeing at Danshui, a town to the north of Taipei. It is a favorite destination for city dwellers to take a stroll and enjoy a coffee along the riverside. Everyone enjoyed themselves as they went around the streets, taking in all the beautiful sights and sounds.

In the evening we had an ordination/ licensing service for Mark Pang (Hong Kong), Sian Loh (Hong Kong) and Junyoung Park (South Korea) for the work of the ministry. We are so thankful to the Lord for these faithful men who will go on to teach others (2 Timothy 2:2).

Dr. Larry Hill ministered the Word to us that evening. He started off by saying a Kingdom perspective is needed regarding our nations. God chose a little town of Bethlehem to bring the Savior into this world. If we feel insignificant, then we are a candidate for God to use. We are to see God behind all that is happening. God had decreed a human king to give a decree in a particular place at a particular time for His Son to be born. The same decree has gone out. We are to go into the world and preach the gospel. We are to charge the gates of hell. And God is with us!

Day Three began with believers seeking the Lord in prayer. Despite it being the third day of the conference, the numbers at the prayer meeting did not go down. Dr. Aaron Wong (Taiwan) spoke about the prayer of Habakkuk. When we pray, our heart knows the future. Habakkuk saw the future. Prayer is the key here. As we pray, the Spirit of God will come into our lives. We will be able to see a bigger picture. We will see clearly, precisely into our future!

Dr. Richard William brought to us a powerful Word that morning. He exhorted all believers to experience the various dimensions and impartations of the Holy Spirit. The revelation of the Holy Spirit has to be caught. For us to experience that we have to surrender our lives daily. We must yield daily. We must die to self daily. Pleasing our Master must be the top priority of our lives. That is authentic Christianity!

At the afternoon workshop, Pastor David Hwang (South Korea) encouraged the believers to stay passionate for the Lord.

Dr. Larry Hill spoke to the pastors and leaders at the leader’s workshop. Many people are damaged emotionally in their souls. When they become leaders, this can become very dangerous. It can cause them to fall. We have the responsibility to deal with all issues in our lives so that we can minister effectively to the people.

There was such an excitement in air as believers gathered that evening, our last session for the conference. While the world celebrates Halloween that day, the people of God were there to celebrate King Jesus. We had an incredible time praising the Lord that almost brought down the roof. Hearts were lifted before Him in worship and adoration.

That evening Dr. Roberts Liardon preached on the birth of Reformation. On this day years ago, Martin Luther stood up in Germany and nailed his papers to the door. Luther helped give freedom with just this scripture, “The just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17). By scripture we can defeat the enemy. By scripture we can have reformation. A man and the scripture will always overcome!

Later on Dr. Larry Hill went on the pulpit to say that we owe it so much to the men and women of history. What we celebrated that night did not begin with us. True Christianity liberates. It liberates structures. It sets an atmosphere for people to dream. We live in an unprecedented time in history. We must seize every opportunity that we have to spread the gospel!
